Red Nose Day 2015

This year on 13th March, 7 pupils from Kingsford School tried to raise as much money as they could for Comic Relief.  They organised for everyone at school to come to school wearing something red and or with a funny face.  The 7 pupils also organised a Funny dance-athon to this years comic relief song ‘Lay Me Down’ by Sam Smith.  Winners of the funny faces challenge at the junior end were Room 5 and the senior class winners were Room 12.  Everybody was asked to bring in one pound.  The kitchen made every one a Red Nose shortbread.  By the end of the day we had raised a grand total of £384.72 which we think is no laughing matter!
