Bulb Planting
Some of the green fingered Kingsford pupils enjoyed a break from their usual time table and spent some of the sunnier parts of last week to plant bulbs around the school grounds. Seizing the opportunity afforded between heavy rains and frozen ground the children dug dug and dug some more planting as many bulbs as they could before fingers became numb or arms ached. Although the experience was rewarding for everyone who took part, for one pupil it was especially so as they dug up some unexpected treasure: a coin! We wait with fingers crossed to see the efforts of our toils in the spring.
