Working Together…

I was incredibly impressed with Primary 5’s collaborative working this week. It may not look like much yet, but this is the beginning of a sustainability wall which was imagined, measured, designed, and cut 100% by the kids in the class. The class came up with ideas then discussed how they could all be worked together to make a cohesive design. They then used the wall measurements on a digital graph paper to decide how many centimeters each aspect would have to be in order for it to all fit and look right. Pairs then used the measurements the class came up with to each contribute to the display by drawing and cutting out one of the parts.

Some of the pieces have not been added yet as we are still studying sustainability, but I was too excited by Room 9’s hard work not to share their process. Keep an eye out for the rest of the pieces to be added, I’m sure it will look phenomenal!
