Well done to nine pupils in our Basketball Team who put up a tough fight on Wednesday 27th February at Aberdeen Grammar School. Kingsford drew 19 all against Kingswells Primary and lost 23-25 to Ferryhill.

Each match lasted 20 minutes and is broken down into four five minute quarters. The children play 3V3. Each quarter the players are rotated on and off.

The children receive a certificate of participation at the end of each festival. One player is selected to collected the certificates on behalf of the team. This time Vandana was selected having played the best she ever has! This is Vandana’s second year in the team. She has grown in confidence – dribbling and shooting much more often and is far more determined to keep the ball for her team!
