Eggsperiments

As a finale for our space topic the children in Room 8 designed a space planet lander. To ensure all the delicate scientific equipment would arrive on the surface of the distant planet safely the children used eggs in their models which were then dropped or launched from a great height onto the hard surface of the playground.

Every designer was delighted to find their egg landed without breaking, especially as they were Easter eggs and they then got to eat them – broken eggs were to be returned to Mr Roach for ‘disposal’.
