All Stars Cricket Assembly P1-4

 

Children in P1-4 heard all about All Stars Cricket for 5-8 year olds after learning about and playing Cricket last term in PE. Kingsford School works closely with our local Cricket Club, Aberdeenshire Cricket Club based at Mannofield, who have delivered cricket to P1, P5 and P6 this year. This is the third consecutive year they have been coaching at Kingsford.

More about All Stars Cricket in case your child would like to keep playing and developing their skills:

• it’s for boys and girls aged five to eight
• it’s eight one-hour sessions, held over eight weeks
• the emphasis is on having fun and being active whilst developing developing your child’s movement skills
• Valuable time with your kids – mums and dads are encouraged to take part too
• Safe and fully accredited
• All children receive their own personalised kit when they sign up – t-shirt, cap, bag, bat and ball.

At the end of the presentation, two children from each class were selected to try out some of the kit and show off their skills.
