P4 ZC – It’s been a busy few weeks already!

Children have had a very busy few weeks in P4ZC!

We started the new school year with some great discussions around our class values like how we celebrate success in our classroom, and how we can make sure that everyone feels part of our class, and nobody feels left out.  The children came up with some great ideas which will make it on our classroom wall soon as a reminder of all that they came up with.

We’ve also been practicing getting started on our quick ‘starter’ work right away in the mornings, after breaks and lunch -usually this is quick maths & literacy work done on small whiteboards or paper.

In literacy, the children have been learning how to retell short stories in the past tense. This will help as the children continue to write their weekly summaries after chapter readings of the Bookshop Girl.
