R14 saw a real MUMMY!
On Friday we went to Aberdeen university to see a display about Ancient Egypt. We saw a real life mummy and scientists discovered that she lived until 72 years old! Then we saw her empty tomb case called a sarcophagus and we were lucky that we saw her because the following week she was going to America. We were shown charms which were for putting on tombs to remember them. Then we got to make clay necklaces and after they dried we put beads on them for decorations. The best bit was when I made the clay charms and the bit I will remember is that Ta-Kheru was the oldest mummy that ever lived.
