During the last week of term 2, room 7 pupils visited room 12 to teach the children how to make a 12 point star out of squares of Christmas paper. Everyone in room 7 had to partner with someone in room 12. I chose a girl. I made the first point of the star so that she knew what to do. She followed my instructions and we made the second point together. She made the rest of the points with my help. She needed a lot of help to do the tricky folding parts. We both did the sticking together of the 12 points as it was difficult to get the right shape. I had great fun in room 12 and think we were all good teachers as the finished stars looked amazing!
