Investigating solids in Room 7

Room 7’s science topic this term is Solids, Liquids & Gases.  One of our lessons was all about solids and their properties. Here we are investigating which materials make the best structures.  We tried midget gems & cocktail sticks, marshmallows & dried spaghetti and jelly & plastic straws. We found that the midget gems & cocktail sticks worked the best.  We REALLY enjoyed this task.
