Cross Country on Tuesdays

Cross Country Club will start Tuesday 9th Feb at lunchtime break.  It is open to everyone in P5, P6 and P7.  We will be running 4 laps of the grass field to improve fitness and stamina.

We are looking for commitment and a positive attitude.  Pupils who work hard may be invited to represent the school at the Cross Country Championships on 18th March.

Runners will need a complete change of clothes – shoes, joggers/shorts and a change of T shirt and jumper as well as a bag to take all muddy clothes home in.  No school uniform to be worn on what may well prove to be a muddy run.

P4 children will be able to join in, in a few weeks.

Last year Kingsford pupils did really well in the fun runs and several even got to invited to compete in the Champion of Champions event.  We hope that with starting training this soon, we will do even better this year!
