P7 Curling

P7s went curling on Monday 8th February at the Aberdeen Curl Centre on the Langstracht. We learned how to slide the stones across the ice and it was so cold so we had to take a warm hoodie. We were taught how to curl the stones round other stones.

We learnt how to sweep the ice to make the stone faster and easier to curl more. We learnt how to slide on one foot, if you try to slide on the shoe without rubber you will fall. If you are a learner you will be given a  blue bag to put over one shoe, if not you will get a rubber bit under your shoe you take off.

We all liked it, we had fun and a laugh. The people that were teaching us there are funny and good.
