P6 RM10 Visit to Aberdeenshire Cricket Club

Kingsford School has been working in partnership with Cricket Scotland and, in particular, Aberdeenshire Cricket Club to create a school-club link with the aim of getting more children more active through cricket.

This term, Primary Six have been learning how to play cricket during PE with Miss Taylor. Room 10 were selected to attend a Primary School Festival due to their hard work and enthusiasm whilst learning how to play. 

The Primary School Festival was held at Aberdeenshire Cricket Club, based at Mannofield in Aberdeen, on Thursday 14th June 2018. The class was divided into two teams. Each team got to play four matches (two before lunch and two after lunch). In each match, the team got to field and bat. Kingsford played against Fernilea, Holy Family, Mile End, Milltimber and Broomhill Primary Schools.
