The P6 and P7 classes were lucky enough to receive a taster sessions from Wanderers Rugby Club today. The children were kept very busy and learned lots too. The children now know the ball should be carried in two hands, use to hands to tag and tag on the hips. Players should be looking for “Spaces not faces” when they have the ball in order to avoid contact with opposition.
The sessions finished with lots of happy faces! All of the children in P6 and P7 went home with a Wanderers Rugby Club flyer. The club are hosting four free taster sessions for boys and girls in P6/7 on Thursdays 4:15-5:00pm, starting 30th May. The Club is based on Groats Road, beside Hazlehead Park.
