What happens in the Water Cycle?

Room 8 have been very busy this term learning the terminology about the Water Cycle and what happens to the water to make in fall as rain, hail, sleet or snow.

We made mini water cycles so that we could see the different phases as they took place.We saw how water rises as vapour (Evaporation) and then condenses to form water droplets (Condensation) before falling as rain (Precipitation).  These are some photos of us making out mini water cycles.

Everybody in Room 8 has really enjoyed this area of science and are linking their knowledge to Solids, Liquids and Gases now!
