Feeling Thankful in Room 3

Before this week’s visit to Mastrick Church, Room 3 found out a bit more about why we celebrate the harvest festival. We learned the meaning of the word ‘harvest’ and worked out why we celebrate harvest festival at this time of year. Because people go to church during harvest festival to give thanks for the harvest, we thought about other things we feel thankful for in our own lives. We wrote them down on leaves, which were orange and red to reflect the autumn leaves outside, and stuck them on the tree in our classroom.
