World Book Day
World Book day was on Thursday 5th March 2015.Children and Teachers dressed up as a book character if they wanted to. In the photo are characters from all kinds of books including Alice in Wonderland, Matilda, Jack and the Beanstalk, Where’s Wally, Dennis the Menace, Tracy Beaker, The Gruffalo and many many others.
Visitors came from 10-45 until 11-45 to buy book, games, puzzles and DVD’s. The book fair was held in Kingsford School hall and raised over £520!
The kids of the best school in the world (Kingsford School) got a £1.00 book token for a book store in the best city in the world (that’s ABERDEEN of course!!!).Or to put towards a more expensive book.
The price was a BARGAIN at only 5OP a book!!! That’s FANDABBYDOSIE (means happy). It’s better than POUNDLAND!!!
