On Thursday 17th March Kingsford School held its first Science Fair. Every class, including nursery, had the opportunity to showcase and demonstrate science they had been learning about to family, friends and visitors. The doors opened at 9:15 am and staff and pupils welcomed the many parents who were eager to see the amazing science happening at Kingsford School. Parents were able to take part in creating some marvellous potions with nursery pupils, participate in some Frozen experiments, make predictions about floating and sinking, try out some strange experiments based gravity, the list goes on! Parents and visitors had so much fun seeing and taking part the wide range of science experiments. With positive feedback such as “Brilliant! Learned some new things today. Well done all” “I really enjoyed it today, it was really interesting. I stayed the whole 1 hr 30 mins and could have stayed longer” and “Very interesting and educational for children and adults.” We all agree it was a success and is something we will plan to do again in the future.
