Chinese Lanterns

In room 9 we have been making Chinese lanterns to celebrate the mid-autumn festival in Buddhism. The mid-autumn festival is a festival to pray the moon to get good luck with getting lots of food and crops for the year. It is celebrated with lots of dancing, music, kung-foo, drummers and moon cakes. Lots of people in Asia celebrate the mid-autumn festival. – Dennis
