Team Jak’s pirate debut
The fearless Team Jak pirates team took their custom built boat for its debut on the grass at Hazelhead Park on Saturday the 29th of September for the Dandara Charity Run. Amazingly, it did not fall apart during the 5K run, arriving intact to complete the race in just under an hour!
Well done to Team Jak and the fantastic efforts to raise money for Kingsford’s chosen charity this year which is Jak’s Den – a charity providing practical, social and emotional support to children and young people with cancer and related illnesses, their families, friends and those bereaved. http://www.teamjak.org.uk/
Mr Bain’s pirate cousin, Captain Grey Beard will be coming around the classes this week with his special treasure chest to collect money for Jak’s Den so if you can, please send your donations via your children.
